When you first walk into Tickle My Senses Gallery you immediately appreciate the openness and light that showcases the art. Becky Lee opened the gallery in 2003 and wants to showcase local, regional and national artists and she is doing just that quite well. She attends the Buyer's Market of American Craft to select which art she would like to bring back to sell. In Becky's words: "If it makes my heart sing, I buy it!"
Becky makes jewelry, does wire wrapping and a lot of beading and design work. Her pieces are proudly displayed in a glass case for sale in the gallery as well. Her other passion is gardening and she loves to decorate them with bird houses, feeders and fountains. She has beautiful garden pieces in the gallery and is always looking for more especially with spring being around the corner.
The appeal to this gallery is the different mediums of the art pieces. Colorful pottery, paintings made out of popsicle sticks and wind chimes made from ship buoy metal. Not only does this gallery appeal to a true art connoisseur it also is a truly unique gift shop for shopping in the heart of New Cumberland.
My name is Christy and I moved to the West Shore ten years ago and into New Cumberland in September 2012. I really enjoy living here and getting to know the community better every day. I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my dog.
